What does external legal counsel do for a Philippine business?

A responsible arrangement identifies the legal entity that is the client, designated contacts, matter capacity, document limits, meeting and communication protocol, matter register, conflicts process, response boundaries, and escalation route. It is not an unlimited legal service, automatic acceptance of every issue, or a substitute for separately scoped litigation, government proceedings, major transactions, BIR controversy, corporate remediation, or live disciplinary work.
